Can anyone clarify for me whether coffee is good for you or bad for you? I am getting mixed messages about it...Is there organic coffee and is it ok?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Coffee
Sun, June 10, 2007 - 10:54 AMThere is organic coffee.
Good or bad is not so easy.
There are lots of different views.
For me, like many things, it depends.
Are we talking a little coffee or six cups a day and what else is in the coffee.
How do you respond to it.
For me, I enjoy a small amount in the morning.

Re: Coffee
Sun, June 10, 2007 - 3:59 PMI usually have about two cups in the morning. It doesn't seem to affect me...I mean I don't get shakey and I can actually have coffee after dinner and go straight to bed and sleep fine. My boyfriend says that it is bad for me but others say that it has antioxidants and actually helps your skin...

Re: Coffee
Mon, June 11, 2007 - 7:22 PMI just read an article in the latest Body and Soul magazine and they addressed this topic. It contains something like Tannins and some other vitamins that were good for you. 1 or 2 cups are ok, it's when you start drinking the 1 or 2 POTS a day that it starts to become bad. I drink organic coffee. -

Re: Coffee
Mon, June 18, 2007 - 2:07 PMI just came of a 3 month break from coffee. even before that I only drank one cup a day but would feel drained later in the day. it's not so bad now and it's been a week. i think i'm all about the organic coffee these days. I also don't think coffee is bad, unless you have certain health issues that coffee aggravates. just love that cup 'o joe! -

Re: Coffee
Sun, September 2, 2007 - 10:08 PMGary Null says no coffee but doesn't give an explanation in his book. Accupuncturists and doctors are saying that the plastic we brew our coffee in is toxic when heated. Try using a French press when brewing.
If you want to kick the habit, I highly reccommend taking green pills (get 'em at Trader Joe's) and aloe juice (8 oz. a day). Make sure you take the green pills 3 times a day. You will be so energized that you won't need coffee.
